Dr. Gounder earned his B.S., in Biomedical Sciences and M.D. at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. He has practiced Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine at Emory University and Northwestern University and continues to be an active member of the medical community in Tennessee.

Dr. Gounder started Urgent ACO in 2023 after realizing that an essential element of the healthcare ecosystem is often missing in value-based care payment models.

Jed is a seasoned executive with nearly 20 years of experience in technology, business development, and partnership functions within sports marketing, media, and entertainment. He has held strategic leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon.com, managing significant portfolios and driving substantial revenue growth through innovative partnerships and business strategies. His expertise includes negotiating high-value deals, launching impactful programs, and developing custom measurement solutions. Jed holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Economics and Management from the University of North Carolina

Jared D. Hill is a highly experienced healthcare IT consultant with extensive expertise in Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), Claims, and insurance processing. He has managed large-scale projects and teams at prestigious healthcare institutions such as Kaiser Permanente and New York Health + Hospitals, focusing on revenue cycle management, operational readiness, and workflow automation. Jared holds multiple Epic certifications and has a strong educational background with an M.S. in Analytics and an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. His technical skills are complemented by hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing Epic systems to enhance financial performance and efficiency.

David Chen is an experienced healthcare consultant with 16 years of Epic experience and multiple Epic certifications, including Resolute HB Administration, Cadence, Prelude, and Grand Central. He has worked with various healthcare organizations such as UCHealth, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and Cleveland Clinic, focusing on Epic implementation, charge capture, revenue integrity, and Go-Live Readiness. Chen has led multiple projects across the US and internationally, including strategic roles in the UAE and management positions at Accenture. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BS in Management and Risk Management from Brigham Young University.
